Wal-Mart hired Sapient to re-design Walmart.com and launch the site for the critical 2000 holiday season.

I collaborated with a team of designers to create the visual design, focusing primarily on the browse path and checkout process. I co-produced a style guide to ensure that our design team and web developers maintained visual consistency throughout the site.

The result was a design that usability guru Jakob Nielsen recognized as having “consistent navigation, clean graphics, fast download times, respectable keyword search, and ease of use.” (Internet World, January 1, 2001)
